::: Anelise

 
 
Anelise was born in the maternity of Santa Casa Hospital in São Roque – SP in February 1st 2000; she has a rare disease called “aquiropodia”, responsible for a severe bad congenital formation in the arms and legs. When she was 1 year and 2 months old she started in Conforpés a treatment with prosthesis in the inferior limbs. Now she is 2 years old she walks by herself. Today Anelise is a life and perseverance example, showing us the biggest are the difficulties in our lives we can get over them..
 
 
::: Celso
 
 
Celso Mascarenhas, was born and raised in Araçoiaba da Serra – SP, he was a designer since his childhood, but when he was 18 he had his arms amputated after an accident with a homemade bomb. Today he is 36 years old and keeps drawing and works as a typist in Araçoiaba da Serra City Hall - after receiving two-myoelectrical prosthesis of Conforpés. He was considered the best myoelectrical prosthesis adaptation case worldwide.
 
 
::: Pirata
 
 

Alcino Neto, know as “Pirata” was born and raised in Guarujá, he was a surfer “since ever”, but after a motorcycle accident he had his left leg amputated. Today his 31 years old and is the owner of  “Escola de Surf do Pirata”, that’s a surf school where he teaches all the surf knowledge for kids, teens and adults and also develops a social work with wanting children and people with special need from Guarujá. Besides it all, he is creating a Non Governmental Institution – ONG to help the environment.

::: Nelson
 
 
Nelson teaches at UEL – “Universidade de Agronomia”, he had an accident two years ago and he had his right hand and two legs amputated below the knees. After the accident the physiotherapist Dr. Jefferson Cardoso made a great recovering job. The rehabilitation was complete after using two-high tech orthopedic prosthesis and he could get back to his normal activities soon.
 
     
 
 
 
 
 

::: Washington

 
 
Washington Ângelo had a motorcycle accident in May 2005 and had his right inferior limb amputated. Two months after the surgery, Conforpés started making his high tech prosthesis, also know as “intelligent knee”, that provides a greater movements freedom and stability, getting back to his normal activities soon.
 
 
 
::: Thaise
 
 
When Thaíse was 13 years old she had a disease called “meningite meningocóccica tipo C", it caused her four limbs amputation. In the following year, Conforpés started the rehabilitation process, using two-myoelectrical prosthesis for the superior limbs, which are brain commanded. Today Thaíse walks perfectly and has a normal life: she walks, studies, types in the computer, works as a model and does her other daily activities normally.
